Proven Virtual Learning
The Little Lincoln curriculum is designed to work for both virtual and traditional schools. We provide the equivalent of a 180-day school year for students enrolled in early kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Third grade will be available for the 2011 – 2012 academic year through Lincoln Interactive. Courses cover math, science, reading, writing, social studies, visual arts, and wellness. This coursework can be completed at a student’s own pace.
Little Lincoln uses a wide variety of online and hands-on tools to enhance students’ creativity and imaginations. The lessons are presented online by a cast of actors who portray unique and inventive teachers to encourage a fun learning environment. Also online, students play interactive games, listen to stories, and participate in the virtual world of Midlandia. The hands-on tools reinforce learning through fun activities books, inventive experiments, and even a colorful collection of storybooks called the Tales of Midlandia.
The Little Lincoln curriculum adheres to government standards and alignments. All lessons, objectives, and assessments are written by fully-accredited teachers to ensure that students receive only the highest quality education. Assessments can be tailored to a student’s particular needs. We can also provide assistance in crafting a charter based on your state’s standards.
